Fall 2009 newsletter (current)
We’ve changed the name of our newsletter to the “FTS Monitor”, and despite a great new look and easier-to-read format, we haven’t changed the friendly writing style nor interesting news stories that you’ll find within. This is a Fire Weather-specific newsletter (Hydrology and Meteorology content is coming soon!). In this issue:
- Learn why the F6 datalogger got approved for the entire US RAWS network by NIFC
- Our innovative portable fire weather continues to evolve…introducing the QD3!
- Just one reason we say the F6 is a not just a datalogger, but a whole “platform” for endless future expandability
- How FTS responds to the unique demands of North America’s harshest and most remote terrain (and the rabid curiosity of grizzlies)
- What the first FTS datalogger from the 1970s looked like (hint: remember what the first computer looked like?)
You’ve asked for more information on FTS products and services and our company, and we’re listening…we’ve got even more exciting changes in store to keep you “in the know” about everything that’s going on with FTS. We have an enormous amount of new developments planned for the rest of 2009 and 2010, and we’ll have some great new ways of keeping our valued customers apprised of it all!
